Referee Assessments: Will take place at the National Championships in Carrick on Shannon on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd.
All referees whose qualifications have expired, and who are refereeing at Carrick will be reviewed over this competition.
Referee Examination: Those who wish to sit the written exam for any of the Grades will have the opportunity to do so over the weekend in Carrick on Shannon. Please contact the Refereeing Officer before 30 May prior to the competition to indicate you wish to sit this exam.
Referee Workshop: A referee’s workshop (suited to new referees or those wishing to improve their qualifications) consisting of one day theory on Saturday 6 July 10am – 5pm in Kilcock, and a second day with the focus on developing practical competence with assessment on the third day will take place on the same weekend as the National Club Canoe Polo Championships 13 – 14 July in Kilcock.
Closing date for places on this course will be the 28 June. A minimum of 10 persons will be required to run this course.
Written Referee Exams will also take place over this weekend.
