I was just wondering under what circumstances does one boat tackle under an opponent's boat and when does he boat tackle over the boat?
As far as I know, boat tackling under an opponent's boat is to impede his movement as well as make it easier to push him out of the way. This happens most often when a player tries to break up the defensive zone as it enables him to push the defenders out of the defensive formation.
However I'm not sure of the advantages of going over an opponent's boat instead, would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me :stupid: ... my guess is that it is better to go over the opponent's boat if one is going for a shot at goal and the defender is directly in the way; but then the player can't get a clear shot at goal either coz the defender can still block using his paddle. Well dat's juz my guess, hope somebody can enlighten me. :p
