Finally found time to write this entry.

Firstly, congrats to the IVP team. You have retained the IVP title we won for the past 3 years and now win it for a record 4th time! You make it look so easy but the seniors know the tough trainings you went thru to bring the championship back. It was indeed an unique experience watching from the stands during your ivp matches and not being able to help you. But we had never doubt your ability to win the IVP. And Oreo you did not let me down personally when i handled you the duties of defending the SP goal last year. You had proved that you are the best goalkeeper in this year's IVP. The attacks were also equally fantastic and i can see a No.5 coming our way if you continue playing the way you are playing now.

Secondly, the girls did pretty well considering the odds stacked against them. Now that the national champs had ended, i guess it's time to train up the girls and make them a dominant force as strong as the SP mens. Jackson you will see this entry won't you? Haha.

Last but not least, another wonderful competition with Rookies. Last year's national champs lost to blackstorm was painful. I was up there on the stand watching helplessly as we lost narrowly to blackstorm. We won this year and we can now safely say that we had put the lost behind us. The journey to the final was indeed special for me. On the road to final i played against 2 of my junior keepers and 1 senior keeper. It has a bit of deja vu and i'm just glad that i ended up in the winning side for all matches.

We got a clean sweep of the Mens' Opens, will that happen again next year on SRRR07? Dun bet against it.

Though i not playing keeper position , but if that the weak point of urs.. maybe ur zone (defence) shld cover more on that side.. cos every keeper surely have a weaker side which is harder to block..

I think is will be hard for them to teach you by words here.. y not , organise a friendly over at TP side ?? stan will go down and give you some pointers :) that will be better ,right?? waiting for ur invitation over to TP ,ok ?? :wavey:

Those who able to shoot at the top left and top right must be good shooter lor.. so the more ur zone shld not let them stay in the zone for too long.. :twocents:

Hi Raymond,

During a 1 on 1 situation , u have to use ur basic instinct to save the ball. No one can teach u on that . Maybe u need to observe the body actions then guess where the ball going. :twocents: :twocents:

For our nat keepers, we just whack them as much as possible . There is no special drill for keeping for us. the keeper just have to get used to our shooting speed and once he able to save the balls, then is time for the shooter to improve his shooting once again. :thumbup:

To SP IVP (Mens) : Even though u clinch a Gold in IVP catergory, the journey doesnt end there. Rookies will be hoping to play with you guys next year in the Mens Open Final.

To SP IVP (Girls) : I will remember the promise that Kang Jun told me that day. So hope that you girls will train hard and make him proud :) Next year , Monster is gone IVP but Devlin will be back for the revenge.

Although it might be kinda sad that we wun be able to play as a full team anymore cos some of us broke their thumb, while some is feedin birds at Jurong Bird Park and so on and so forth... Dumbest injuries u known. should be yaliang breaking his nose while learning to do roll at the pool side. i still remember it was libang's fault. he suddenly just splint pass him while he was rolling up, the rest is history.

the following training when he came back, his still recovering nose was hit by my ball, causing him to shed more blood again. i guess thats y he quit.

i remember theres this junior girl who was send to doctor because of me also.. hahah..

i think its part and parcel of the game.

Battersea, London based club... I was there 4 days ago. Can send SP juniors and trash them. Hahaha. I go there macam big time superstar!!!! They train every tuesday with many first timers or division 3 players.

special thanks to Club Rookies. i like what Kenneth said, as long its Rookies, it doesnt really matter which team. we should push each team to improve and keep us on the edge. look at the standard this champ. the last 4 games in semis and final, 3rd & 4th placing, there were 3 match that went to golden goal. what an exciting sunday.

i guess i did what i wanted to.
