Hi
Just wanted to say thanks to the organisers of the Welsh open for a great weekend. I hope the blistering weather didn't cost to much. :bgrinhat:
Before we start all the scandel, I wanted to know what people think, for example:
What do people think of the "new" venue?
Perfect for Polo with the pub only seconds away.
And should the organisers be Banned in future from Superman impressions in the pub?
Should the Irish be carded for spectating? (oh right they were).
Did anyone take photos for the Babes thread?
And why is the grass always green?
Answers on a post card please.

Hi
The Welsh Open was the first polo tournament I'd been to and it was really good. The venue was good, and the superman impressions better. Oh, and the Irish should definately not have been carded for supporting, we needed it!

Hi Carrots, :lepr: :silly:
You didn't much support, you all did ok for the first time. :-) Except your drinking skills need improvement. But then again your all Welsh. :D
Howie - And by the way, those shirts are in a class of their own. (they also walk on their own)
I think the Meridan youth team (the ones in black) deseve a special thanks for scaring the s@@t out of me in the final. Well done, great games (all three).

I thought the new venue was fantastic. this is the only tournament iv'e been to where the pitch, cafe, shop, camping, pub and nightclub were all within walking distance.
I wonder if Howie's theory about it being an inapropriate date is true. Perhapse some people could post the reasons they decided not to come?
Niall
I took some photographs but havent had them developed yet. I'm sure there's one of the babe you'r on about.

The photo's didn't come out, sorry.
we'll just have to hope the weather is as good next year so I can try again.
Leave Nialls shirts alone. They obviously work because I didn't see anyone else wandering around the campsite at 2 am with a young lady in tow.
