Ciao
Here in Italy have a lot of problems to go to Ireland flying with boats so could be possible that a minibus will leave.
Could you give me the best route to ireland?
I believe the quickest way is drive to Liverpool and take a boat there to Dublin.
Could be good?

Ferry information from Liverpool to Dublin on www.poirishsea.com The sailing takes about 8 hours, I think. There is a faster 99 minute ferry from Hollyhead(Wales) to Dublin, check www.irishferries.ie
For flights have you tried www.ryanair.com ? They fly from Italy to Dublin via London Stanstead. I know they will carry boats for a fee (25 per flight sector, I think)
They fly from the following Italian airports.
Alghero
Ancona
Bologna (Forli)
Genoa
Milan-Bergamo
Palermo
Pescara
Pisa
Rome (Ciampino)
Trieste
Turin
Venice Treviso
Verona Brescia
Hello Andrea,
Here in Portugal we had the same problem...
Last Monday AerLingus told us that it won't be possible
to transport our kayaks... and as our national Air Company
(TAP) just assure (100%) that the boats will be transported
to London... well, I choose to send the kayaks by a
transport company (by truck) and they'll arrive Ireland on
Monday 11th... well, it will cost us 560 euros from Lisbon - Dublin and +/- 630 euros from Dublin to Lisbon.
For the air tickets we payed about 276 euro / person with all
the taxes included.
AerLingus was (till now...) very nice and helpfull company to
work with... dispite they couldn't fly our kayaks ;-)
Well, hope to see you in Ireland soon.
Nice trip for you and the guys.
