Hi,
I suppose the Lettmann "Fighter" is built up in the LCS-Version as adding the prices for rental and bying makes nearly exactly the price for a new fighter in this version. LCS means Light-Composite-System and is in the middle of the range of Lettmann boats inbetween simple Diolene-boats and the extra strong vacuum-built boats in the VCS-version.

Thanks for the info. more questions, Are there any polo bat from lettmann other than Flighter. I do have a Lettmann myself, but dont know the name of it. It had carbon/kavla on outside hull, kavla on inside hull, same for the deck.

Can I order higher grade in materail? I cannt read german totally

Hi Waz,
Lettmann also builds another polo bat called "Equipe" but I never paddled this boat, so I can´t say anything about it. As far as I know the fighter is relatively new. If I got it right it was invented in 2000. Since last November I own one in the VCS-version made of Kevlar and there is absolutely nothing on it. The main difference between LCS and VCS is not the material (they are both made of Kevlar, Carbon or Hybrid, just as you like it) but the construction process. VCS is built under a vacuum which results in highest possible strength and durability, while LCS wouldn´t last as long (though it is much cheaper and not really bad, but you´ll have to make some more repairs). Before I ordered my fighter I interviewed a few Div.1-players who own this boat too and they stated that they didn´t had to make any repairs during the competition season. As it concerns myself I would say that it is the best boat I´ve ever been paddling (highly manouverable but also pretty fast). But that´s only my individual opinion.

Hi,
Your welcome. I´m sure the staff from Lettmann can help you much better. What I absoultely forgot to tell you is that the boat is best suited for paddlers from 70 to 80 kg´s. As I am 1,76 m and weigh 72 kg, the fighter suits me very well.
