hi all,
Juz asking for some advice here, Is oxford brookes or kinston better? In term of polo (ladies) and academic.

As far as i can remember, neither uni had any teams entered at BUSA's (British Universities Sports Assosciation - Uni Champs basically) this year. :drunk:

That's not to say there aren't players around though - various unis have 'appeared from nowhere' and done very well in recent years: Durham and Leicester both won medals first time out. :gun:

Maybe have a go at setting a team up...!

oh, and academically, it depends entirely on what you're planning to study...

i wouldnt describe it as a good polo team, think they had a mixed team in the open event at BUSA and even we (UMIST) beat them, our first (and only) win at BUSA.

Reading Uni had a good polo team back in 78. We came 8th in the National Championships at Crystal Palace!! Mind you there were less teams about in those days. They also have a brand new club house on the Thames so you should have a good time
if you like canoeing.
