Any news on confirmation of the tournament?

I know this is a little (It's only June next week!) premature but I heard rumours that it may be cancelled?

The Irish Open is on this year on the 15/16 September. It is definately on and not cancelled.

Is there going to be restrictions, or other measures put in place to prevent people from GB or else where in Europe still affected by F&M spreading it over here?

There will be no restrictions unless they are enforced by the Dept of Agriculture and Food. We will take advise from both the Dept and the Irish Canoe Union, the only restrictions I see at present is maybe boats will have to be sprayed. I will post a message on the message board when I find out any more details
