Pictures and attachments

Got any tips about how to use these? I tried to link to a picture I stored on the web, but came up with nothing.... It wouldn't display....

First of all, take a look at how to use the VbCode (http://128.241.201.37/~canoepol/forum/misc.php?action=bbcode#buttons)
If you want to link to an image, put the URL between the image tags eg. [img ]http://www.hostsite.com/yourpic.jpg[/img ] but without the spaces.
The pic should then show up in the post, that is if the site the pic is hosted on allows linking, some don't.
The other way is to save the pic to your hard-drive and attach it to the post you make, you should see the "Attach file" field below the reply area. There is a maximum file size for this however.
