Canoepolo in Vancouver?

Just curiuos if there is any club in vancouver, BC. I was talking to two friends of mine in Vancouver and they would like to to try it out.

yep there sure is you will want talk to one of the following two people on the forums mareese or tcrees.they live and play polo there ) i belive they kinda run the show down there ). and the polo they do paly down there is very good, ibelivee they hae even taken the canadian title. hope they can help . best of luck.

Hi KR,

The Vancouver Canoe Polo Club plays at Deep Cove Kayak Centre on Monday nights from around 6pm to exhaustion.

We have a few sets of club equipment to go around, so please send in your friends.

They can contact me, Ben, at 604-734-9105.

Tristan is in Europe until mid/early July, and Mareese will be busy with family matters for a little while. I hope I can help.

My friends are new at Kayaking yet I am encouraging them to check out KP. I already planted the paddling bug in their brains...And I am trying my best to encourage them to go and see you guys play and decide if they want to go all the way. I am sure, they will.

My first gig at the pool was a disaster. I could not even do the wet exit properly. My coach warned me to not come back untill I had improved... :bgrinhat:

You enjoy school as long as you can...when I was in school I did not have the money to learn how to kayak- but time to learn, when I had a job that payed me enough money - I did not have the time.....and now I have a job which does not pay me enough money and some time - so I do extra jobs like pet sitting to pay for paddling classes so that once I settle down I can play polo...at the present rate I guess I will play at the end of 2003 or early 2004 depending on where I am..but I will play one day. But this forum is very encouraging and lots of fun....
