Problem about rule 34.3 of Illegal Jostle

Hello all canoe-polo friends,

I got a problem when interpreting rule 34.3 about Illegal Jostle.

The rule states:
"A player with the whole kayak behind the goal line may not be jostled, as they are not in the six(6)-metre area."

I got two different interpretations of this rule and wondering which one is correct:
1. This IS an illegal jostle since player not in the 6m area may not be jostled;
2. This IS NOT an illegal jostle since there is no jostle outside the 6m area.

.......everybody pls help me to make a verdict on which is the correct one, "1" or "2".

Hi friend,

Interpretation 1 is the correct one. If a player is jostled when he is behind the goal line, it's illegal since he shouldn't be tackled in the first place.
