Any views about game?

Hello you all!

I would be interessed about hearing how your team / national team plays!
We in Finland have kind of big problem because we haven't got enough money to tour europe at summer time!
We can afford one forreign tournament per year and that means in fact that those tournaments are allways some European Champs or World Champs, so we see other teams playing rarely!
In defence we have moved from the old kind of defence (one GK, two defenders and two of those who paddle after the ball like maniacs) to a new kind of defence where there is one GK and four defenders.
The general idea what we have in this system is, that all of the four defenders keep their kayaks facing to the opponents goal and they let the attackers to come in the míddle of the defence and even behind it, but they have to prevent the ball going past them.
If it works, this kind of defence enables really fast attacs and lots of goals!

Any ideas or something...

If ur just going to stop the ball this won't work unless u guys are like Darth Veider with ur blades. There's no way ur just going to sit in a line in front of goal and stop the ball. You have to hold ur zone and keep the attackers out you can't just let them drift in and out where they like.

Well...

First of all, I think of my self more to be something like Luke Skywalker or Obi wan Kenobi, but is there a difference...

In that defence the defenders don't sit still, they force the attacers to shoot or pass the ball before it gets criticaly close to the goal, by moving all the time!
This way theres actually more paddling than in the old zone defence!
