The site is great, like all the summaries on the national league and the points tables and stuff all makes for a good read, keep up the good work Bex and crew :)

I agree the web site is great, but so you think the national squads and national legue team lists could be posted somewhere so those of us not so onto it could keep up to date with who is playing where, so we can can better understand why some teams might be dong better than others!

Looking at your webpage, I take it that vikings are the best team as they are always on it. Is this so!!

No just becks is at all our games as she plays for the Valkyries and sometimes the Vikings.
If other teams could send in some information/ reports, they would be posted on the webite!
Vikings are currently only 3rd in NZ based on last years rankings and this years games played....though we hope to improve on this

Thanks Paul for your comments about the NZ Canoe Polo site. It's really nice to hear someone liked the writeups. I'm really keen to keep going with these.

Great suggestion about having team lists available on the site. - One of our goals for the NL2003 season was to have a page on each NL entry, unfortunately the time I've been able to commit to the site this year hasn't allowed me to achieve all the goals I set, and this was one of those items that unfortunately missed out on being implemented :waah: .
:) If you'd like to see more information online about your local NL team, encourage your local team manager to submit content with their NL entry. I'd love to have items like:
- team photos
- full team lists
- team bios
- images/logos associated with the team/club
- anything else that might be of interest?

You definately could have a point. Maybe it's just that their coach is a babe?
In the last few weeks, the home page main photo has been: vikings, Auckland Women, Dunedin women (c/o Otago Daily Times).
:bgrinhat: I"d absolutely looooooovvvee people to send me in photos from their local events, if you have something to submit, drop me an email (make someone from your town FAMOUS!):

I'm always on the look out for potential photographers and writers, and items are starting to regularly come in now, which has been just great (thanks guys!). Unfortunately, as a member of the Viking squad (where I spend a reasonable amount of time on the sub bench) its likely that the odd viking will crop up in my photos
:gun: :viking:
Thanks again for the feedback, it's really encouraging to hear what people want/don't want/want more of. Cheers!!!!
(It's more likely you'll get what you want if you ask for it :hump: )
I think that the National League booklet is in the process of being designed, and will be available soon for everyone to peruse. I must say, it isn't easy to get comprehensive coverage when those "up with the play" are generally the ones playing.... (speaking from experience here....)
As for the Vikings, if people want to see more content of other teams, then send in your own reports and photos. I'm sure your contributions will be welcomed.
The offer still remains for someone to take over the Northern Site, seeings as I can't find time to update it. Fingers crossed that I actually remain in Auckland this weekend and get around to putting my latest interview up. No promises however....
Urgh, we were all posting at the same time. Oh well, what Becks and James said???
