Alan, we could do with the scores between Forest and Humbersiders to work out their final league positions, as the table does not give enough information now!!

Alan,
What a thriller your league must have been!
To split the top teams by 1 aggregate goal at the end of the season is about as close as it could ever come I suppose.
Congratulations to FOA!
Thanks for posting the results it made interesting reading.
Take care

Thanks ,I'm an italian polo player, I'm interested in your League and UK Canoe polo. Your Polo's ring is one of the best in the world, it's so strange that is so difficult to have informations about it, something like results, tactic comments about games, teams, events and so on. Moreover I have set up a page, where I've put the ranks of the main european championships and I tought to put in something about players...what about it?

Is it not possible that the teams coming up from the lower leagues must reach a higher standard before looking at playing in the top flite. Look at Luton what a waste of a year up then straight down even Dragon made the effort to stay in Div 1 can we not bring in a minimum standard or a play off between the demoted teams and the up coming team to only let the best in as the league has a standard problem as it is??????????????????????????????????????????

I have read your note and don't really agree with your sentiments. Luton had every opportunity to establish themselves in the league if they wished, and I assume the whole reason they play in the national leagues is to improve. Without playing the best this won't happen!
To prevent the div 2 champions their opportunity to try their luck in div 1 is morally wrong and to have play offs with the demoted teams is a backward step in my opinion.
To keep the sport alive the league structure needs to be transparent and should not move towards being a 'closed shop'. Every team should have the chance to move up as champions of their league unless there are multiple leagues at that level. Even then I am a firm believer that the league champion should go up without play offs and that only teams finishing second should have to fight it out with other regions.
Just my tuppence worth!
