hi just wondering if anyone can help me, I've been playing polo now for about a year but have to use a plastic boat which isn't very good, and i was wondering if anybody could suggest what type of boat i should be looking at getting, i've tried a couple of boat from other members of the club but i find my thighs are too big for their boats, so could someone please suggest a boat that i could try please as i want to try and improve my game! :D

What boats have you tried? I paddle a mystre and find there's loads of room, or the raptor / Revenge both have quite a bit space for your legs, but then I'm only 5'11.

Double Dutch has a model for you, as well as Mega (probably the Raptor). You'll probably find the link to mega on www.clydespolopage.com
The biggest dane (2m, big thighs, 100kg) is comftable in both the above mentioned boats. Sorry I don't remember the name of the DD model.
You might also wan't to check out a Lettman, it might fit, but I haven't tried it myself.
Ps. note that your weight, hight and foot-size may matter as well as your thighs.

I paddle a revenge nitro, I'm 5ft 8, weigh 90kg and had 25inch thighs when I used to powerlift for a hobby!! When you try a boat, ask the manufacturer to put the seat far back, this will not only help with the thigh problem, but also stop the front from submarine-ing all the time.
Other than that Dave Brown makes a big boy's boat, so does double dutch and mega. I tried a standard combat which was very roomy, but I think the best boat would be the fat boy build up on a revenge nitro which is bacically a revenge nitro but slightly thicker from deck to hull
