Problems with Eskimo gecko

Did somebody have any problems with the new Eskimo Gecko polo boats. Those with the Yakima footpegs, and the reduced thin plastic?

Our club geckos definitely have very stiff footpegs. I'm not sure which make they are.
Overall, we're pretty happy with them.
