Hey,
I have been set the task of making the rope pitch and I am wondering the best way of making it is. DOes anyone know where you can get the plastic floats to go on the rope?

I don't know which country you live in but just to let you know, here in Italy, we made a new set of rope pitches when we bought all of our plastic floats at a big fishing shop where they sell everything for making commercial fishing nets. You can find these plastic 'loops' in many sizes. They are much cheaper than the variety that you can also find in shops selling yatching and speedboat material.
hope that this info helps :twocents:
Hi Pete,
We bought our floaters from plastimo.com. Since they did not deliver direct to their costumers, we asked a marine store to order them. Cost about 0.80 euro each. Then take a rainy sunday afternoon and about 120 m of polypropylene line (the normal orange, 8 or 10 mm will do) to create your own pitch. Good luck!
