I think you have to chuck Carl Duncan in with the names of the best. NZ vice captain and chaser and apparently in the top 10 goal scorers. Well done Carl

Luckily people don't always vote for who scored the most goals. From what I remember the player voted as most valuable during the World Championships in Japan (2004) was Hagen Oligmuller, a defender who did not score many goals but played a key part in the Dutch defense and was very very good at retrieving the ball from opponent attackers, thus enabling the Dutch to counter a lot.

But congrats nonetheless to Carl Duncan, being in the top 10 of the World Championships top scorers is quite something! :thumbup:

number 1 for Netherlands, can't remember his name, but my god... WOW... the way he plays polo is the best thing since edible underpants.

Nr. 1 is most likely JD, who now playes a lot in nr. 7. He is no doubt one of the greatest, but what makes him really cool is the smile on his face. He seems to love the game despite rediculous amounts of heavy training to reach that level. I love him for that!
