Does anybody know where I can get hold of some coloured acrylic sticky-back sheets? I have recently bought a second hand polo boat and I'd like to put some of the plastic sheeting stuff over it because it currently has a yellow plastic layer on it but where that has worn through it is red from what I imagine was the previous layer or maybe the original.
Cheers

Fablon usually works quite well for this. You can usually buy 1.5m x 1.5m rolls at places like Wilkinsons, B&Q, Homebase etc.

Do a search on http://www.google.co.uk/products for Fablon.

I was looking at the Fablon stuff in Homebase, it didnt seem that sticky.... Are you sure it'll hold properly on a polo boat and not just peel away easily?

this is my prefered site to order from
http://www.mdpsupplies.co.uk/ritrama...0Gloss%20Vinyl (http://www.mdpsupplies.co.uk/ritramaglossy15.asp?parentcat=9&parentcatname=Ritrama%2015in%20Gloss%20Vinyl)
you can get fablon in 2 different widths and it's a good price. The postage is around about £7 but the more you buy the more value for money it is.
They also put it on a continuous roll which is handy.
delivery is very quick and they have a good range of colours.

another option is to go find your nearest sign maker, most towns have serveral, take a look in the yellow pages, and ask for some self adhesive vinyl....you may be suprised by the choice of colours, and if you are lucky get a roll end for next to nothing!
