Way to go young ones!! Really happy to see that more and more people are taking up canoe polo as a sport in Singapore, so different from the time where it was played only by a few tertiary institutions.
Welcome on board!
Hanrong, member of the 'oldest' team in Singapore, Red Tide Canoe Polo.

hey hanrong! yay, red tide! you guys are like former NUS players rite? we train at NUS!
to chengyu: yes! we are going for the SP champs, but we're still quite noob, yah, so i'm not sure if we'll win anything...:( But it's the process that counts! we played in the Canoe Polo 3-on-3 at NTU this year, 4th Jan! got owned big time, but we really learned a lot.
we train on wednesdays and fridays 3-5pm (studies are really busy, so trainings are short, sadly). I usually only come for the friday one.
btw, our coach was wee hong, who recently left for australia. our current coach is heng fu. any of the names sound familiar?

hey everyone!:) like tridian, i am from nus high canoe polo as well, but i am in the girls' team. seems like i've been in touch with canoe polo for very long but it's not more than half a year actually(nov 2007 to now). haha. i love it!
btw, what is this about under-21 category? do you think we really can be up to it in 3~4 years time? that kind of opportunity is sure something worth working for, plus we have such an encouraging and focused coach!
hopefully we can work hard for ourselves, our own goals & make our coach proud. and you guys in the canoe polo community will help us too right? :wavey:
Hi Tingan and the rest of the young players,
Glad you kids get an early chance to try out this sport. back in my days, i only get to know the sport when im ard 20 years old and in my times we dun get much chances to spar or compete with others players cos there are only 2 0r 3 teams playing in Spore.Hope you kids will grow to love n eventually excel in the sport and represent spore in the near future. Of cos we will help in a way or other. if not y do u think your coach would spend his time coaching u all? :)
Work hard and of cos the right attitude makes a winner.
Train hard for the coming competition.

Warm welcome to NUS High players!
Whether you're joining the CP fraternity as a player or spectator, the rest of the SG CP uncles and aunties applauds your entrance.
Trust that you have enjoyed the game so far, especially under the TLC of Wee Hong, and now, Heng Fu. They are very good players, and coaches. Hope we can see you playing for many years to come and eventually become seniors to take care of your juniors like how Wee Hong and Heng Fu have been taking care of you.
