under 21 for summer series

There was talk at the start of the summer of being an under 21 team playing summer series. I think this is a good idea to develop an australian under 21 team. The problem exists that everybody will still want to play for their club team. Do you think that these players in their club team could play for both teams and then when they play for their club they should have a rule set down that they either play for their club or u/21 team.

Otherwise the under 21 team will get thumped if the stronger under 21 players only play for their club team.

what are other peoples thoughts regarding this? do you think the under 21 players should put a team in to the summer series? and should club players be able to play both catagories?

as an under 21 player yes I'd be more than happy to play in 2 teams.
Wouldn't leave the club team though. want the win. :trophy:

oh and why that fell through was lack of interest. there were only 4 under 21 players keen on the idea plus steve. understandably there were a few who wern't keen on leaving their club teams and the others just don't seem to play interstate polo unless it's nationals.

I think it's a great idea.

if u guys needed more players id be happy to play, if you wanted me im sure there would be other guys from my u18 team and from the u21 seconds team that would be happy to try and step up to the plate too

are you talking an under 21 category? or in the open category?
