i have a question
when a free shot, throw sideline or corner was given...
is that a faul if opponent trying to use his paddle to block the ball (even they are 1 meter away) before the player pass the ball? the blocking action such as acitvely move his paddle to block the pass etc...

It is not illegal so long as the player can perform a 1m throw measured horizontally. This is assuming:

1. No part of the opponent's equipment is contacting any part of the starter's equipment.

2. The opponent is not performing illegal use of paddle ie bringing his paddle towards the starter.
