Easily its SA, juniors havn't lost in 10 years, youth would be getting to close to the same and the SA 2 mens team can almost beat all the other states lets not even start on the SA 1 :)

losing all our good junior players? huh, steve is only 16 and he dominated juniors. we have some strong developing players coming through as well. with the expert coaching of matt and matt its just not safe for other teams to get out on the water. anyway 1 catagory doesnt make you a better state, unless that catagory is open men because that is the catagory that counts. :)

i'm not sure who keeps voting for victoria though i think the must be really ill informed of national league competition if they think the vics are any good :)

As big matt has pointed out you only need to look at the last ten years of national competition results to see this. Matty P when was the last time the Vics won Open at nationals.

i must agree with my comrade wingman, history doesn't lie (well not in this case) but who is the best this year as in 2007 then SA. if you mean the future 2008 national champs well it think SA will be strong yet again. the catagory that really ounts is open men and when was the last time the vic boys won that, better yet what happened in 2007 did they even make the second round robin.

Dont worry about our juniors while victoria may have quantity in SA we train quality :)

emma j h, honestly how can you vote for queensland? this poll is for the best state right? in all catagories? and i think the qld are doing great with there juniours but seriously lacking in all other catagories. Matty P knows that no other state compares to SA so he has decided to wait until next states when hopefully victoria might win a final (still doubtful). unless of course your polling is not related to polo at all and just which state is the best holiday destination :)

I joined up. So hopefully there is enough chatter on here to keep me coming back for more. SA is obviously the best state people wise. Im yet to meet any interstaters with whom I can hold a conversation with. And isn't that what polo is all about - popularity? Or was this poll about playing ability because we win that one hands down too. We are quite prepared to here in the mighty great state of South Oz to become a seperate polo entity of our own to give the rest of you guys the option to team up and give yourself even half a chance. Wouldn't that be interesting South Australia v The Rest of Australia. SAdly I think we would still win.

I owuld like to point out that there is some what of a bias in your survey. clearly NSW is the best but we are all extremely busy working to take part. and typical SAians will take any opportunity to float their own boats!
