I wanted konw which leauge system is played in Australia and how many canoepolo teams are in Australia.

well, there is a lot of teams in australia.. too many to count really, Autralia's pretty big :P with 8 States and teritorys, each having there own compititions, some of them with 2 or more comps running locally.. plus all the interstate playing we do.

we genreally play round robin style if that's what you mean.

i think what your talking is more the interclub stuff.

basically the major thing is the summer series comps, then interstates.

summer series is 4 comps played a month a part, over summer, hosted in canberra, sydney, adelaide and melbourne, there are i beleive 8 or so div 1 teams playing at those comps.

interstates is then run over easter, where the teams are selected by the state bodies, as opposed to summer series where u can basically enter the team however u want to. generally based within states, but there is some cross over, and more than 1 team from some states
