Hi,

Well it is that time of the year once again and here it is..............

Belfast Cup 2003

15th and 16th of March

For accommodation try Tourist info with map is at www.gotobelfast.com which will give accommodation. If you find
anywhere with a deal let me know or post it at the www.canoepolo.com
forum so we can get the other teams there as well. I
will see if I can find where is cheap and cheerful in the coming weeks.

hey Niall,

how many teams do you have now for Belfast?
Are there many div 1 teams entered?

Hi Mike,

Well so far I have one Div 1 team which has shown interest (but not paid). Div 2 has 3-4 teams and Div 3 has 2 teams but with interest shown buy another 2 teams.
Div 3 is looking to be a beginners div with the better div 3 teams in belfast going for div 2. (should help people judge the standard)

Due to the fact I need 18 teams to run this or else I can't pay for the pool, if I don't get entries or at least interest by the end of the week / month, we will probably still run the comp but we will discuss dropping a Division and making more spaces available for the other divisions. I don't see the comp being cancelled (but then again who knows what might happen).
Before I draw critic for these thoughts, let me point out that the cost of the pool has gone up but the entry fee is the same as last year. I am running this for the first time and I am leaving all options open.

Hi one and all,
To inform you that the Belfast cup will not be having any Division 1 this year as only one team bothered to enter. So we will be having larger a Div 2 & 3 this year. The Belfast cup is almost full so if anyone is still interest please send me an e-mail as soon as possible. zuppypost@ntlworld.com
