Hey Folks

Here is the timetable for Galway Polo comp this weekend.
Div1 and 2 mixed (only 2 Div 1 teams). And a Div 3.

Div1 and 2:
2 Groups with 1 div1 team in each will play Round Robin On Saturday. Top 3 from each group will go into a Div1 and Div2 finals playoff on Sunday. The remaining teams will play a Round Robin on Sunday to contest lower places.
There will be a Div1 final and a Div2 final and Div2 3/4 playoff! Every team should get a good bunch of games regardless of rank!

Captains meeting at 9AM on Saturday, first match 9.30.

Things to note:
DO NOT get changed outside the Claddagh church or directly outside the houses along the Div2 pitch side. DO NOT park your car up at the crossroads near the little green island either, there is tonns of parking down by the Claddagh Hall. Complaints were made last year and we want to keep this venue!! We have arranged changing rooms along with showers and toilets for all of yee!! These are situated down by the Claddagh Hall near to the Swamp Park. At the very worse bring your gear onto the island by Pitch 1 to change if you have to. This will be explained at the captains meeting.

Regards
Dave

Last year, a section of the car park by the hall got closed off(with cars locked in), any idea what the story with this is this year? or should I bring an angle grinder
Same as last year I suppose, get there early, get a parking space and don't move your car for the whole weekend.

Showers though....

The 2nd round groups on sunday read - 1A / 1B / 1C and 2A /2B / 2C

Is this right? So - the top 3 teams from the 1st round groups play each other again?... or should this be 1A/2B/3A and 1B/2A/3B ?

Cheers!
