TOPIC: New club

New club 08 Mar 2009 22:35 #1

Could someone give advice about starting a new club. I work as a outdoor education college lecturer, for age 14 - 25ish students.

We have access to flat water and have river kit but no polo kit. Am interested to hear if you think its viable for me to start a club for our students?

Al,
We are about 50 miles from you and if you would like to bring your paddlers over to our lake we would be happy to help you by giving you some ideas for training drills.
I honestly believe that if you have a group of interested people it is of course worth starting a club.

I quite like the new signal, it makes sense and I think simplifies refereeing a bit. Just one less then for people to learn.
