I know the company's been sold but I was wondering if Obeco still retained the rights to manufacture them as the new owner isn't and I'm in need of a set of Q-Dos blades...

It's still on their Website (http://www.paddleobeco.ca/paddles.php) but I don't know when's the last time they updated that page. You can email them directly, it might be faster.

I tried emailing them, about six months ago, but never got a reply. So was hoping someone in the community would know.

Here's the response I got from OBECO:

[...] we never did make Q-Dos paddles. They were at one time made by a friend of ours in the UK and we did stock them. However, he stopped making them, and I don't think anyone has continued it on. The only paddles we have in stock now are Lettmann, Bracsa and Double Dutch [...]
