Hi:wavey:
Its Carol here - NZ Mens Manager for worlds 2008.
Can you please help us?
I am working on the itinerary for our trip next year and hear that the following are possibilities:
1. Tournament in France about 2nd weekend July - do you know of any others?
2. Duncan from Australia is suggesting that they may go to Vancouver for a week before worlds to train - sounds like a good idea to me. He has suggested that perhaps S Africa, USA, NZ and maybe Belgium would also be 'starters' for this with games being played as well. It would be great if we could have several other European teams as well as yourselves (Canada) training there as well.
From our budget point of view it would be much cheaper for us to fly from NZ to Vancouver and travel by car to Edmonton rather than do the Europe leg as well.
Is there an opportunity for us NZto have a venue to train on as well as some accommodation near venue etc? In 2006 we stayed at clubrooms for a small cost - do you have the same in Vancouver?
Any help you can give me will be most appreciated. thankyou
