The 8th World Canoe Polo Championship 2008 saw the largest competition staged outside of Europe to date.

A total of 50 teams competed in the final rounds in Canada the 3 categories of Men,

Women and U21 Men.

World Canoe Polo Champions 2008:

• Men – Netherlands

• Women – Great Britain

• U21 Men – Great Britain
